Renowned Cuban Hip Hop Pioneer and Entrepreneur Ariel "Asho" Fernandez will discuss the importance of the Cuban Hip Hop Movement on Cuba’s culture and heritage and its similarities to the emergence of Hip Hop movements in the African Diaspora. Through music, visual imagery and videos he will expose the African elements in Cuban Hip Hop’s sound, lyrics and its spiritual, activist and social elements.
