- How do I register my class group for a tour?

- May we eat on site? Do you have a cafeteria facility?
Unfortunately, The CCCADI Firehouse does not have an designed eating facility on site. However, we can provide an appropriate space for bag lunches in our first floor multi-purpose gallery following the end of each guided tour program. We can store your bag lunches in our galley kitchen while your class is in the galleries.
- My class includes children with special needs. Can they be accommodated?
Yes. Our museum educators are able to communicate with children of varying abilities. Please make sure to indicate on the registration form the classification of special needs, and how many students are included into your visiting group. Additionally, please let us know what accommodations we can provide in order to assist you.
- How do I reschedule or cancel a confirmed school gallery tour?
School tours may be cancelled with a minimum of one week’s notice for a registration refund, less a 30.00 processing fee. All cancellations must be received in writing, indicating the school’s name, phone number, and date of scheduled tour. Please send us notification, along with a copy of the original confirmation letter via email to: email@example.com.
- Is there school bus parking?
There is no school parking. The Firehouse is located on the busy main strip of 125th street in East Harlem. We recommend referencing the New York City Department of Transportation website for bus layover locations.
- May we arrive earlier than our designated time?
We ask that you arrive by 10:00am to ready your group to begin on time for your guided tour at 10:30am.
- How does my school pay for our visit?
Payments are due at least one week in advance of your guided tour. Groups can process their payments by check, or NYCDOE Purchase Order. Checks with your confirmation letter should be mailed to:
