Family Day and Membership Drive Admission:
Saturday Studio is a monthly interactive event that features hands-on and movement workshops, and along with other engaging classes for people of all ages led by some of the city’s most innovative artists. This month’s Saturday Studio features artists Atiba Wilson and Esther Armah for a story telling performance and oratory reading. Membership Drive: Support CCCADI by becoming a member. Membership includes discounts and passes for CCCADI events, as well as invitations to special members-only programs. Membership is affordable and available at many levels.

Please join us for a special program with guest Marvelous Color artist ERIC BATTLE. Mr. Battle illustrated the publicity artwork for the Marvelous Color exhibit and will appear at the CCCADI gallery to lead a special workshop for children ages 5 and up. So parents, bring your aspiring heroes in what will be a memorable afternoon spent with a professional comic book artist! Mr.Battle will also be autographing copies of the Marvelous Color program featuring his cover artwork.

After the special program, the gallery will remain open until 6pm for any visitors who have not been able to make it out during the regular gallery hours. Come down with your friends and enjoy what many are calling an amazing collection of original artwork presented in a unique and new way.

Biography:
In Eric's career as an Illustrator, he has he covered the span of editorial, fashion, children's book and advertising. As a comic book artist, he's drawn for some of the top companies in the industry: Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Dark Horse, and Harris Publishing.  Eric has also worked with bestselling Science Fiction authors, George R. R. Martin and Daniel Abraham on,  "Wildcards- The Hard Call", and with bestselling novelist, L. A. Banks, on her Vampire Huntress Legends novel series.
