Movement and Meditation For Stress Management, Personal & Professional Development
With Nafisa Sharriff
Movement and Meditation is ideal for artists and educators who primarily serve in a teaching capacity. The goal of this workshop is to replenish their physical energy while simultaneously enhancing their creative energy. This is accomplished both by releasing built up stress in the physical and mental body through movement and tapping into a well-spring of creative and inspirational energy through meditation. Movement and Meditation will offer those who are constantly giving “of” themselves an opportunity to give “to” themselves through life enhancing tools that will benefit, balance and revitalize their entire system. Integrating dance, music, song and a gently guided visualization meditation, Nafisa Sharriff provides a safe and serene environment for all participants to release stress, quiet their minds and enjoy a more complete sense of wholeness in order to return to their life’s mission.
