Way of the Orisha: Sacred Songs with Frank Bell

Thursdays, October 29th, November 5th, 12th, and 19th, 2015

 

Scholar, and world-renowned Akpon, Frank Bell will lead participants through a participatory series of Orisha song and introductory information workshops.  Each workshop is categorized by specific Orisha groupings, based on their pantheon location, as well as their assigned universal force.  Sessions will be as follows:

1. Warriors – Elegba, Ogun, Ochosi – Oct 29th

2. Powerful Female Orisha – Yemaya, Oya, and Oshun– Nov 5th

3. Creators, Earth & Gate Keepers- Obatala, Aganyu, and Orula – Nov 12th

4. Communal Session for all Orisha – Nov 19th

Those interested in attending only one session will pay a registration fee of $25 at the door. Limited seating capacity. Priority will be given to people that registered in advance.
