CCCADI Presents “Our Road to Freedom: The Grand Opening of Ilé Oyin”
On a day surrounded by sacred energies—Juneteenth weekend, the summer solstice, and the feast day of Elegguá, opener of pathways—we invite you to walk with us.
Join us on an ancestral procession from the CCCADI Firehouse, to the Harlem African Burial Ground, onward to Ilé Oyin- our new buzzing beehive for artists and creators.
Ilé Oyin, meaning “House of Honey” in Yoruba, embodies CCCADI’s vision for its new East Harlem corridor location: a “buzzing beehive” where multidisciplinary artists can create, collaborate, and engage in activities grounded in advancing cultural equity and building racial & social justice for our communities.
Help us open the doors to a new chapter. Walk with us.
Processional led by Michael Manswell & Something Positive
