Thank you for standing with CCCADI at 50.
In 1976, Dr. Marta Moreno Vega founded the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute on a simple conviction: the cultures of the African Diaspora are foundations, not footnotes. On April 28, 2027, we celebrate her and fifty years of work at the Museum of the City of New York. The evening is an elevated cocktail reception in the spirit of AfriCarnaval, with a diasporic culinary experience, live music, an awards program and dancing. Seating is limited to 200 guests.
Our goal this anniversary year is to raise $500,000 for public programs, the Community Archiving Lab, Artist Entrepreneur Trainings and Youth Pathways.
