We sounded a carnival call when we announced the opening of “Jab, J’ouvert, Revelry & Resistance”, and the community has responded! Opening Night of our 50th Anniversary Exhibition curated by Know Your Caribbean was a success.
We offer endless gratitude to our beloved partners Know Your Caribbean, curators of this living offering, for shaping an exhibition so aligned with our values, at such an important moment & crossroads in CCCADI’s history.
Carnival has always been about sacred resistance for us, and this exhibition reminds us that there is profound joy in that resistance.
Deep thanks to AKC for keeping us moving with the tunes, to El Dorado and Diamond Reserve for providing drinks for the celebration, and to Sisters Cuisine for the delicious bites.
